Pondering on Life and Death

Spread the love

In the depths of sorrow, I find my soul,
With losses profound, my heart feels the toll.
Three deaths of my loved ones, so close, so near,
Leaving me pondering, questioning, and unclear.

Oh, how fragile this life we hold in our hands,
As time slips away like grains of sand.
In the face of death, I search deep within,
Contemplating the choices that define where I’ve been.

Attitude, a beacon that guides us through strife,
Determining how well we navigate this fantastic life.
Will I crumble in darkness, consumed by despair,
Or rise above with resilience and glare?

Each choice I make, a brushstroke on life’s canvas,
Creating a portrait, unique and boundless.
I choose to embrace peace, though grief may persist,
To honor their memories and not to resist.

For in their departure, they gift me a chance,
To appreciate life through sorrow’s advance.
To cherish each moment, to love without fear,
To live with intention while they linger near.

They are no longer here, but their spirits endure,
In the choices I make, their legacy pure.
I’ll navigate this journey with purpose and grace,
Embracing the challenges I now bravely face.

For it is through darkness that stars brightly shine,
And in the depths of grief, strength intertwines.
I’ll rise from the ashes, fueled by peace and love,
Finding solace amidst the heavens above.

In the intersection of life and death’s song,
I’ll ponder and reflect on how to stay strong.
With gratitude for lessons, both bitter and sweet,
I’ll sculpt my existence with choices complete.

So I let the fears go as I believe,
That from these losses, new wisdom I’ll conceive.
For in the face of challenge, I’ll find my way out,
Creating a new life is all about.

When Helping Becomes a Crime: A Wake-Up Call for Immigration Attorneys in 2025

Spread the love

In 2017, I was a general practitioner — not an immigration specialist — when I was swept into a political crackdown that turned legal technicalities into criminal charges. I believed in the justice system. I believed my intentions mattered. I was wrong. I was sentenced to five years in federal prison for serving a vulnerable population under the wrong administration.

Now, in 2025, history is repeating itself — louder. Immigration attorneys are again in the crosshairs, and what happened to me could happen to you.
This isn’t paranoia. It’s precedent.

I’m sharing my story as a warning and a call to action. If your name is on the dotted line, you are responsible — and you must be prepared.
