Bring The Erosion Sequence™ Into Your Firm

The decision to cross a line is made before it is registered as a decision. This program teaches your lawyers to catch that moment.

This is a structured implementation program — a defined series delivered over time to ensure it is properly embedded into practice. Every session is built around your firm’s actual practice areas, not a fixed CLE curriculum applied the same way to every firm.

Most ethics training stops at the rules. This program installs the framework that determines whether a known rule holds under pressure: The Erosion Sequence™, the five-stage pattern — from the first unregistered accommodation to the collapse event — mapped directly to ABA Model Rules 1.1, 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 8.3, and 8.4.

This is training, not legal advice, and not a privileged engagement. Sessions work with case patterns and hypotheticals — never your firm’s live client matters, billing specifics, or confidential deliberations. Nothing discussed requires disclosure of anything privileged, and nothing here creates an attorney-client relationship.

How the Program Works

1. InstallationA single session, delivered in-house. The core framework, delivered live to your attorneys and tailored to your practice areas: the five stages, the Decision Architecture questions, and case patterns illustrating each stage. Built from the same content developed for national CLE audiences, adapted to your firm rather than delivered as a fixed template.

2. Implementation30 days later. A working session where attorneys apply the Decision Architecture questions to hypotheticals drawn from your firm’s specific practice areas — building the habit of using the framework before pressure arrives, not after.

3. Reinforcement60 days after Implementation. Each attorney takes the Erosion Profile™ individually beforehand — twelve questions, six archetypes, taken privately on their own device. No individual result is ever seen, stored, or reported to the firm. In the session, each archetype is explained in full: the professional strength it represents, the specific risk it carries, and how to balance the two — so attorneys leave knowing not just their pattern, but what to do with it before pressure arrives.

Why This Program

Developed by a former New York attorney whose own progression through the five stages ended in federal conviction and time served at MCC New York and Danbury Federal Prison Camp. The framework was built from that experience and from years of subsequent study of attorney misconduct patterns. The Erosion Sequence™ and Erosion Profile™ are trademarked (USPTO Serial Nos. 99926135 and 99926212). No other program brings a first-person, rule-mapped account of the mechanism that produces the disciplinary outcomes firms are trying to prevent.

Structure & Investment

This program is billed as a single contract. Scope, pricing, and session content are tailored to your firm’s size and practice mix after an initial consultation — not delivered as a one-size-fits-all package.
