A Private Session — For You, Not Your Firm

If you have already taken the free Erosion Profile™ assessment and/or you are considering a more direct conversation about your profile — what it means and how it plays out in your own practice — this is that next step.

You leave this session with the specific tool built for your archetype — not just an explanation of your pattern, but a way to act from your strength before pressure makes the decision for you.

This session is paid directly by you, not commissioned or reported to your firm. Nothing discussed here is shared with anyone — not your firm and not the bar.

What This Session Covers

A 60-minute private conversation explaining your Erosion Profile™ archetype in full and applying it to your own practice: what it means, the specific strength it represents, the specific risk it carries, and how to balance the two — so you recognize the pattern before a moment of pressure makes the decision for you. Each archetype has its own specific tool for acting from that strength instead of the risk — not a generic list of best practices, but the mechanism built for how your particular pattern actually operates.

This is not an information session. You leave knowing your specific tools, and certain that your next decision — not just your understanding of the pattern — comes from your strength, not your risk.

If you have attended one of my CLE programs, you already know these six patterns. If you found this page through the free assessment alone, here’s the full set:

The Six Archetypes

The Architect — “I need to understand the full picture before I act.” Your identity is built around being the most prepared person in the room, so a decision doesn’t feel complete until it’s fully documented. Over time, the documentation itself becomes the proof — the file feels like evidence the decision was sound, whether or not it actually was.

The Performer — “Hesitation looks like weakness.” Your professional reputation is the thing you protect first, so a problem gets managed by how it looks rather than resolved underneath. As long as nothing looks wrong on the outside, it feels handled — even when it isn’t.

The Loyalist — “This person has trusted me.” Decisions get filtered through loyalty instead of duty. Without noticing it happen, the question quietly shifts from “is this right?” to “am I the kind of person who abandons someone who needs me?”

The Exceptionalist — “I know where the line is.” A strong track record becomes its own authority. The more you’ve been right before, the less each new decision gets questioned — the opposite of what should happen as the stakes rise.

The Incrementalist — “Each step is reasonable given where I was before.” Every decision gets compared only to the one right before it, never to where you originally started — so the distance you’ve actually traveled never registers as drift.

The Survivor — “I cannot afford to lose this. Not right now.” Whatever threat is immediate and visible outweighs a bigger consequence that’s further away — every time, even when the math doesn’t support it.

Not sure which is yours? Take the free Erosion Profile™ assessment — then bring your result to this session. Most attorneys recognize their primary pattern clearly, and elements of one or two others. The session covers whichever apply to you — not just your top result.

This session is a confidential conversation between us. This is for any attorney who has taken the assessment and wants a structured way to look at their own pattern directly.

What This Is Not

This is not legal advice, not therapy, and not a substitute for counsel. It does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not privileged. It is a structured conversation about a decision-making framework, applied to your situation, at your initiative.
